Linkin Park to Perform Concert for SiriusXM Listeners as Part of "Town Hall" Special
Sirius XM Radio SIRI -1.37% announced today that the members of multi-platinum selling band Linkin Park will sit down for a rare Q&A session with an audience of SiriusXM listeners in Los Angeles, CA.
"SiriusXM's Town Hall with Linkin Park," scheduled to take place on Monday, August 6, will air on Octane, channel 37, on Tuesday, August 14 at 9:00 pm ET and will be rebroadcast throughout the week. The special will be hosted by SiriusXM host Jose Mangin.
The event is part of SiriusXM's "Town Hall" series, intimate gatherings with iconic musicians and studio audiences of SiriusXM listeners. Previous "SiriusXM Town Hall" specials have featured Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Coldplay, Ringo Starr, Roger Waters, Renee Fleming, Gregg Allman, Usher, Ronnie Dunn and the surviving members of Nirvana.
The "Town Hall" special will include the band answering a variety of questions from the studio audience about their career, their latest album, LIVING THINGS, and their upcoming "LIVING THINGS World Tour."
In addition to the Q&A session, the "Town Hall" will also feature a special, intimate concert performance by the band. SiriusXM listeners will hear some of the band's biggest hits, along with songs from the new album. In the span of time since 2000, when Linkin Park debuted on the Billboard 200 - no other artist has had more top 10 singles on the Alternative chart and, with the release of their latest album, LIVING THINGS, which reached #1 in over 20 countries, no other band has achieved more #1 albums this century.
